Mrs. Cynthia Tang was a dedicated Occupational Therapy (OT) practitioner and clinical educator, as well as a diligent leader and manager of the allied health and rehabilitation professions in the Hospital Authority. She passed away on the Christmas day of 2003 following her courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Tang had made major contributions over the years in educating occupational therapy students. As Mrs. Tang was sponsored to study occupational therapy in the UK through a government scholarship scheme, she wished to support other potential students to study the OT programme.
A scholarship to support students to study OT programme is set up through the donation and named as “Cynthia Tang Memorial Scholarship”.
